Streets Ahead

Team Tilney Shane (Andrew Bartlett, Sophie Taylor and Ben Boxshall) won the first round of the Fritz Hansen Grand Prix. Sadly the coveted trophy has had to be returned in time for the next round but don't worry, it will find it's way back home to us next month!

Royal College of General Practitioners

October has seen some major works being carried out with the formation of the volume of the Auditorium; new steels (a mere 675mm x 12.5m weighing 6 tonnes each) being winched into position so that existing columns can be removed and temporary roofs being erected so that the new extensions can be commenced.

Mock ups are also underway for the fit out works with close co ordination between all the services to ensure minimum visual impact with in a listed environment.

Great Exhibition

The new Power of Making exhibition at the V&A is well worth seeing. We particularly liked the Gorilla made of steel coat hangers and the prosthetic suit for Stephen Hawking.
