This is the week

After months of preparation and fine tuning, the moment has almost come for tilney shane Project Manager Tim King and Projects Director Carl Fisher to take part in the King Sturge Property Triathlon on Friday 9th July at Dorney Lake near Windsor. The final preparations have seen Tim disappear to Loch Ness to perfect the art of open water swimming and Carl has been seen cycling up Box Hill in Surrey. It's a rest week this week to ensure they conserve all their energy for race day.
Carl is in wave 3 setting off at 10.55am, Tim is in wave 13 at 3:20pm. The very best of luck to both our boys and to all our industry colleagues taking part.

tilney shane project on front cover of Education Design and Build Magazine

The staircase which tilney shane transformed as part of its project for the University of Derby is pride of place on the front cover of Aprils edb magazine.

edb magazine said " The University of Derby has transformed a multi-storey link staircase into a dynamic beacon for Kedleston Road campus. The installation was undertaken as part of a re-cladding project involving three tower blocks. Architecture and design consultants tilney shane used Martin Professional to provide a cost effective scheme to light the planar glazed staircase. Cyclo fluorescent colour changers were installed to allow infinitely programmable colour shifts and variations". (Photo: Dave Stewart)

Over The Line

Well done to Terri, Lauren, Shannon and Carl for completing 18 miles between them for the sport relief run at the Embankment, London last Sunday. To date they have jointly managed to raise £970 made possible by the support of great sponsorship from friends, family and industry colleagues. Carl's wife and two children joined in for the first mile and raised a further £100.
